چکیده

— In electromagnetic applications, hysteresis phenomena in magnetic materials are responsible of considerable causes of losses especially in transformer modelling cases. In specific case, such as current sensor, the output signal can be modified because of this loss. The paper presents the implementation proceeding used for some hysteresis material models and how they are applied in a sensor study case. A priori loss computation, simultaneously carried out with the simulation is one of the main advantages of this implementation. A transformer application is performed with the dynamic hysteresis characteristic taken into account and compared with experimental measurements.

Dynamic Performance Analysis of Hysteresis Motors by a Linear Time-Varying Model

Hysteresis motors are self starting brushless synchronous motors which are being used widely due to their interesting features. Accurate modeling of the motors is crucial to successful investigating the dynamic performance of them. The hysteresis loops of the material used in the rotor and their influences on the parameters of the equivalent circuit are necessary to be taken into considerat...

Nonlinear Dynamic Modeling and Hysteresis Analysis of Aerospace Hydro - dynamical Control Valves

A new procedure for deriving nonlinear mathematical modeling for a specific class of aerospace hydro - mechanical control valves is presented. The effects of friction on the dynamic behavior of these types of valves along with the experimental verifictions are also given. The modeling approach is based on the combination of the following three tasks: decomposition of the valve into simple speci...

Preliminary results on dynamic analysis of a new test rig for wheel-rail contact studies

A new reduced–scale test rig is developed owing to significantly contribute to the applicability of the laboratory tests on rolling contact fatigue (RCF) in wheel-rail material. This paper introduces the dynamic analysis of the test rig, in order to assess the vibration behaviour of the system with respect to contact phenomenon. Finite element modelling (FEM) is used to simulate the mecha...

Hysteresis models and gravity fingering in porous media

We study flow problems in unsaturated porous media. Our main interest is the gravity driven penetration of a dry material, a situation in which fingering effects can be observed experimentally and numerically. The flow is described by either a Richards or a two-phase model. The important modelling aspect regards the capillary pressure relation which can include static hysteresis and dynamic cor...
